Introduction – How it works
A twist on the traditional affiliate system
We give you a promotional discount code that you pass on to your clients. It’s a good news story as it entitles them to an exclusive discount of 50% off their first quarterly payment when they sign up to Boost Local. Your clients are then linked to you via this code for their entire life cycle and you will earn 40% of all revenue generated.
How to set up as a promo code reseller
One e-mail and you’re done!
Just touch base with us and express your interest in becoming a reseller. Within this e-mail all we need is the following information:
Bank details (For remuneration)
Preferred Promo Code (this can be anything as long as it's not already taken)
Anything else you feel we need to know
The benefits of being a promo code reseller
A zero hassle revenue stream
Your clients come to us directly. We therefore support them directly, leaving you free to simply collect any revenue due each month without any other hassle.
You get to offer your clients a discount on our services. So, they feel like you’re doing them a favor, which you are.
Total transparency. From within your promo code reseller control panel you can view your statistical sign up data and (unlike normal affiliate systems) we allow you to view all of your client data. This means that you can see exactly who signed up and when.
You will get a direct URL which saves a 30 day cookie. So, once your client clicks on it they will be linked to you for 30 days.
Even if you do not send your clients to us via the direct URL, because you’re offering a discount your client will defiantly enter the code during check out because they’re saving money. This both incentivizes your client to sign up but most crucially guarantees that they will be linked to you.
If we upsell any options then you also get 40% commission on those additional purchases.
Your control panel
- Here you can download all cancelled and active account data.
- This is the statistical area. Here you can see all quarterly service and options sign-ups for the last week, yesterday and today. Plus the total the churn (churn is the number of cancelled accounts) and the net after churn.
- By the 20th of each month your statement will be available to download here. This statement will include the number of products that were billed and the revenue due to be paid across to you.
How and when we pay you
You can set your watch by it!
We will generate your statement and pay out all revenue by the 20th of every month.
NB. If there is no revenue to pay you will not receive a statement.
Here’s what we see working well
An e-mail offer. This is a great way for existing business with a customer base to add immediate revenue to their business. We have seen this work amazingly well for web hosting companies. Simply send all of your clients an e-mail offering them an “exclusive deal” on our products.
An on-site upsell. Why not put the offer to your website.
Social media. We have seen a huge number of people who have established Facebook and Twitter accounts be very successful when offering the deal to their follows, friends and likes via social media.
Blogs and forums. We have seen lots of resellers who are active members of blogs and forums promote their promo codes to great success via that platform.
